Indiana outfit TRUUS return from hiatus with a malevolent new incarnation of members but the same unique sound of raw, trudging black metal that is epic yet forlorn with darkness. Despite a missing bassist due to Covid and a drummer performing with a broken foot (WTF?!?), the performance was an intensely visceral experience of misanthropic, anti-authoritarian anthems.
